As people living standard rise ceaselessly and information technology advances, the requirement of information service based on position became more and more eager, GPS satellite positioning technologies has became a very important methods to get position information in outdoor environment. At the same time, we don't have a effective method to solve the location problem in the indoor environment, because of the indoor environment is more complex and changeable. The location in indoor environment has became a hotly research subject.There are many factors that will influence the transmission of Radio waves in the indoor environment, Positioning by ZigBee technology alone unable to get a satisfactory result of location, this paper puts forwards a new solutions of location and tracking that based on RFID and ZigBee technology, in this solutions we use RFID technology make determine a possible area where the target nodes maybe in. On this basis, make using of RSSI ranging location calculate the position of target nodes. According to indoor wireless transmission exist multipath effect, the influence of node own characteristic, and the influence of nodes distribution to RSSI location algorithm, this paper by analyzing the indoor radio waves propagation characteristics, using the model that based on statistic theory interior radio waves, realizing the path loss model in indoor environment of wireless transmission. The location algorithm based on RFID and ZigBee, According to the Relevance sent and low efficiency of LANDMARC location algorithm based on RFID. This paper introduce a improved LANDMARC location algorithm, raised the reliability and accuracy of RFID area location. In RSSI ranging location algorithm, the main error of location is cased by the error of the loss model of radio waves transmission in indoor environment. So this paper put forward a new RSSI ranging location algorithm based on the similarity of node, minimize the location error that is cased by the uncertainty of the loss model description.The simulation results verify the thesis proposed based on ZigBee and RFID indoor accuracy tracking algorithm is better than RSSI localization algorithm and LANDMARC algorithm has better location performance.
