Position services as the basic service in the many field of intelligent technology gethighly attention in recent years. make positioning technology has become an importantfield of the scientific research study. GPS global satellite positioning system has been somatured in the outdoor positioning technology, but the satellite signal could not penetratebuildings, and indoor environment is complex, there are serious interference of multipathand the interference of non line-of-sight, it is not easy to positioning indoor. And indoorenvironment is the situation which is most closely related with human,s life andproduction, there are many application requirement of indoor location service.Giving the indoor positioning system is not satisfied with the demand of application,considering the advantages that low cost of RFID and non line-of-sight, this article hasanalyzed the performance of the existing indoor positioning system through access to anumber of related information and related technology research, and has designed theindoor location algorithm based on RFID and made the experimental research. For the caseof signal may be interfered by outside factors lead to that signal strength fluctuations andoccur the measurement error of RSSI, this article has analyzed the characteristics of signaltransmission, and has adopted the appropriate zoning methods and Imaxstrategy of regionaljudgment to give full play to its characteristics that the signal strength drops faster whenthe distance decreases in close phase, has reduced the sensitivity of indoor locationalgorithm based on the RFID to the measurement error of RSSI, has made indoor locationalgorithm based on RFID can still works and keeps a good positioning accuracy in theconditions of exists a certain degree of measurement error. Design of virtual node in thealgorithm solved the problem that some location is not convenient to install electronic labelin the actual conditions, at the same time of lowers cost of the location system and canimproves the positioning precision of the system. This article has elaborated the calculatemethod of virtual node,s RSSI, and has added constraints in the process of calculateRSSI of virtual node for allows the measurement error of RSSI in a small range in theprocess of calculate virtual node,s RSSI, so that improve the robustness of indoorlocalization algorithm. This article used the software design platform named Delphi tocomplete the program language design of indoor positioning algorithm. This articlestructures the hardware platform of indoor positioning system based on RFID. The RFIDread-write device is installed on the wheeled mobile robot, we has done the indoorpositioning experiments in the indoor environment where has decorated reference tags. Thejoin point of the object,s coordinate in the localization algorithm has optimized by analyzed the experimental results, at the same time, has proposed algorithm,s robustnessand positioning accuracy of algorithm. The experimental results show that this positioningalgorithm has a high positioning precision. This indoor location algorithm based on RFIDcan reflects the current coordinate of the object very well.
