With the rapid development of information technology, traditional positioning methods,such as infrared ray, GPS, and base station location, become more and more perfect. However,the methods aboved cannot make good use for the positioning system in some indoor orunderground complex environment. At present, there are still various positioning methods thatadopt the traditional way of wire communication, which is all kinds of information arecollected by the radio frequency identification system and sent to computer by a wiredcommunication mode. Now, this technology is mature, but the wiring installation processconsumes a lot of labors, materials, and financial resources. What is worse, it suffers frompoor real-time reaction and personal error.Take this problem into consideration, if the wired communication is replaced by wirelessone, the networking would be flexible without constraint of wiring. ZigBee is a new wirelessnetwork technology with the advantages of the network flexibility, low power consumption,high efficiency of communication nodes, and bidirectional data transfer. It can fit the complexand difficult maintenance environment to achieve the data transmission. This paper focuses onembedding the RFID module in the ZigBee nodes and achieving the formation of networkinformation transmission to replace the traditional wired communication.The thesis firstly introduces the background and significance of the selected topic,analyzes the related technology development at home and abroad. Then it introduces theworking principle of the basic concept and technology of RFID tags and readers, and theconcept of ZigBee technology, network topology and protocol framework, and conduct afeasibility analysis to the combination of two techniques. The overall design of RFID moduleand ZigBee module of hybrid networks, and study the key technology of hybrid network. Thispaper adopts CC2530chip as the design of hardware, design of a terminal node based onRFID technology and ZigBee technology, and network router and coordinator, the specificdesign scheme is presented, and some detail problems are studied. In software design, serialcommunication protocol based on the design of RFID communication program, developed inthe IAR environment, the use of communication program between ZigBee2007protocol stackof ZigBee module. Finally, through the system test, the terminal nodes can communicate with other nodes in the network, and display terminal node read data on the computer, theestablished function realization, basically reached the expected goal.The paper through carries on the design of node localization, realize the localization ofthe terminal nodes in the read location tags, through the testing, achieve the expected function.In the end, the paper points out the problems to be solved and improved in the system andseveral corrective measures are raised.
