| The World Expo, which is known as"the Olympic of economic, technological and cultural fields", is a pageant for the countries in the world to showcase their social, economic, cultural, scientific and technological achievements and development prospects. Following the Beijing Olympic 2008, the Shanghai World Expo 2010 is another global event that takes place in China, which draws international media focus.As a host, Shanghai media has a unique geographical advantage and the coverage of Shanghai World Expo will be more focused and more sustainable. The Jiefang Daily, which is launched in May 28 of 1949, is the official newspaper of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, under the Jiefang Daily Press Group, is the most authoritative of the mainstream media in Shanghai, and is the first date of choice to understand the political, economic and social situation of Shanghai. The Jiefang Daily started in news reporting to the Shanghai World Expo from the 900 days countdown, but did not focus on the potential formation. The Jiefang Daily had a battle meaning of the report on Shanghai World Expo from a different perspective, using variety of news forms to give a news coverage of 184 days'exposition, and actively around the Expo theme of"Better City, Better Life", to ensure the news propaganda achieve impressive publicity, after the opening of the Shanghai World Expo from May 1 to October 31 of 2010.This paper studies mainly on the texts of which the Jiefang Daily reporting to the Shanghai World Expo exhibition.Three parts of the article: The first chapter is the narrative subject of the Shanghai World Expo exhibition reports on Jiefang Daily,mainly research the way how these report txets present different narrative subjects.The second chapter extract the narrative perspectives of the Shanghai World Expo exhibition reports on Jiefang Daily.The third chapter is the narrative strategy of reporting from the Jiefang Daily to the Shanghai World Expo exhibition. |
