At present, Lib2.0 in the digital library construction and services has received very extensive and successful application. From the current application status of library 2.0, there is still a long way to go. With the user-centric approach of library 2.0 acquiring popular support, as well as the extensive application of lib2.0 technology, library 2.0 will play a more important role.The theoretical basis and related technologies about library 2.0 and information services which library 2.0 can provide are introduced.From the motive and the necessity of library 2.0 applied in digital libraries, as well as the existing services limitations of digital libraries, library 2.0 has an impact on information services of digital library and service enlightenments are explained in the paper. What's more, application situation of library2.0 is compared and the gaps at home and aboard is analysed.Library2.0 services provided by a few digital libraries in China and the United States is also discussed, and a comparative analysis to identify the similarities and differences of Library 2.0 application between the China and the U.S., which provides an opportunity for development of digital library are conducted, finally some suggestions on how can Library 2.0 be applied to the digital library are gived. Besides, combined with user-centric concept, the digital library service system 2.0 is designed, providing reference for the further development of digital libraries.After four years of development, library 2.0 still has deficiency. The following six shortcomings of Library 2.0 in development are presented. However the Library 2.0 also has broad prospects, which helps digital library promote information service and accelerates the development of digital libraries.
