Demand of energy is more and more as high-speed development of economy in China. Mineral resource, as the basis of development of economy and social in our country, play more and more important effect in economy development of our country. Mineral resource is a consumption product, exploitation and utilization of which will be combined with advanced science and technology, and ensure high-speed and sustainable development of economy in China. Accelerating the digital construction of mines was the starting point in this paper. Combined with data warehouse technology, mines data warehouse which based on mines geology data was constructed, designed and researched on the basis of analysis on feature of mineral corporation data .Main contents in this paper were.(1)Combined with the demon of mines enterprise decision-maker, concept model, logical model and physical model in mineral digital warehouse construction were researched and designed mainly and the construction of mineral digital warehouse which the theme was mineral drilling data was carried out according to multi-dimensional property, multi-source property, multi space property of the data in mineral enterprise and the diversification feature of obtaining means. Star model was used to design drilling data warehouse and determine the fact table and dimension table of mineral data warehouse at the same time.(2)SQL server 2005 was used to construct the mineral data warehouse which theme was mineral drilling data on the basis of completing research and designing of mineral data warehouse model. The constructed mineral data warehouse was put into SURPAC geology data base by mapping function in SURPAC software and three dimension visualization expression of drill was obtained successfully at the same time, which tested and applied data warehouse technology to store and manage mineral corporation data and excavated the information hiding in mineral data in order to solve the problem in mineral decision auxiliary.Research of this paper have important meaning on accelerating domestic mineral digital construction, which could solve managing and storing problem of a large number of mineral data effectively. Useful information hiding in mineral data is excavated through constructing mineral data warehouse and using tools such as OLAP to provide data supporting for mineral decision-maker, which takes science to mineral producing managing decision, promotes and regulates information standardization construction in mineral industry and accelerates domestic mineral digital process.
