Design And Realization Of Garment Enterprises Message Management System Based On Web Service

T&A (Textiles & Apparel) industry, which is one of the earliest and most sort-complete traditional supporting industries in our country, has been playing an important role in the national economic development. With the development and increasing scales of T&A enterprises, cooperative work among the dispersive departments is becoming a new feature and a new management mode. However, the functional departments of T&A enterprise are usually scattered in different regions, and what's worse, there exists a lack of data-sharing and information integration mechanism among these departments. As a result, the cooperative work among them can not be really achieved. Accordingly, this paper proposes to design a Garment Enterprises Message Management System (GEMMS) based on Web Service, aiming at achieving the real cooperative work mode among the dispersive departments within garment enterprises.The study process in this paper can be divided into the following four steps: (1) On the basis of analyzing and studying the work flow of garment enterprises and the technology of computer supported cooperative work (Web Service), the thought of designing and developing GEMMS to achieve the cooperative work mode among the dispersive departments of garment enterprises is put forward, and its model, its framework, and its structure are studied. (2) The necessity and application process of GEMMS'key technologies is thoroughly studied, and so its technology system is measured off: the key technologies are divided into upholding technology, core technology and the developing platform technology in terms of their functions and importance. (3) The running mode and the functional structure of GEMMS are studied before the study of the detailed function realization process of the four main relative sub-systems. (4)The CMS (Contract Management sub-System) and the PMS (Purchase Management sub-System) of GEMMS are developed, and the cooperative process between the two is studied. With the goal to achieve the cooperative work mode among dispersive departments of garment enterprises and on the basis of computer network technology, database, the extensible marked-up language, web service and the .NET developing platform, this paper studies GEMMS and develops its two subsystems: CMS and PMS, and the cooperative processe between the two as well. Finally, by running the CMS and PMS in the garment business procedures, it is validated that the aim and effect of GEMMS is achieved, that is to say it can really achieve the data-sharing and information integration among the dispersive departments of garment enterprises. And as a result, GEMMS will reduce the executing time of product chain, decrease the enterprise operating cost, and further more, it will enhance the management efficiency, the economic benifit and the market competitiveness of garment enterprises.
