Design And Implementation Of An Equipment Management Information System

Nowadays, with the development of the information technology, information management turns into a very important part for enterprises or institutions. It is a common thing that the information technology can help enterprises or institutions to run more efficiently.An equipment management information system is used to collect, store, manage and publish the related things of the equipment system, such as institutions, equipments, laws, human resources , and cases. The system can provide all-sided, exact, and secure search information of the equipment system for the user. The system is divided into two parts: one is for data management, the other one is for disc publication. In the part of data management, a website which has three main function modules is developed. The three funtcion modules are information search , information management, and background management. In the part of disc publication, a disc making system and a disc query system are developed. The disc making system is used to export the data in database by security classification and the time when the data is last updated, and call the CD mirror making tool, the CD Encryption tool, the CD burning tool to make CD. The disc query system which provides query function runs at the computers of users.A brief introduction of the related technologies of the system is gived, such as Browser/Server structure, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC pattern, and encryption algrithm. After the detailed needs analysis, a database is designed. In the paper, the design and implementation of the system is divede into two parts, one is for data management , the other one is for disc publication. In the part of software testing, the methord of testing is studied, and some test case is gived. The last part of the paper is the summary and outlook of the project.
