With the rapid development of automobile industry in China, tens of thousands of cars went into the industries and families every day, but with the increase in the number of vehicles, the needs of urban traffic, vehicle navigation and monitoring requirements as well as the demand for vehicle safety became higher and higher. Because of these needs, a system collected the vehicle navigation and monitoring as a whole was produced.Vehicle GPS navigation and monitoring system based on Windows Mobile platform, is based an application software running on smart phones and various embedded devices, to achieve the navigating and monitoring of vehicles through the communication between the vehicle embedded equipment and the monitoring center.During the system development process, we take full advantage of Windows Mobile platform to save the time in developing underlying Class. Vehicle GPS navigation and monitoring system based on the platform of Windows Mobile broke the previous single-function mode of GPS terminal, realized the fusion between GPS and GSM networks as well as computer networks. The connection is achieved by completely utilizing GSM message transmission, through which GPS data and the data between on-board terminal and the monitoring center are transmitted. The development of relevant standard software and protocol providing a basis for the future popularity of a particular industry or even nationwide. There are great prospects and economic benefits to establish an industry GPS satellite navigation and positioning monitoring system relized the Vehicle navigation and monitoring within the industry and dilvery of the data between vehicle terminal and monitoring center.
