Design And Application On Internet Accounting Based On Proxy Server

Internet accounting can track the condition of Internet source used by individual or groups, then charge fee reasonaly. On the one hand, it can protect the proceeding and development of Internet; on the other hand, Managers can provide more resource which clients need to improve utilization rate of the internet resource.Based on the research of router's net accounting system, this thesis has researched the fol-lowing fields.1. We concluted the merits and disadvantages of every kinds of accounting methods and expounded the reason why we used the technical route after researching methods of existing network accounting system.2. We analyzed actual requirment of campus's network accounting system based on re-seaching its characteristic and difficulty.3. We investigated implemental models about WWW and FTP proxy server, and applica-ble methods of Data packet switching, dealing with Cache.4. Table structure on system design and flow of work and database based on network ac-counting management system was given. And we give more detail plans which were put forward to Data Acquistion and Data Processing and System Maintenance and Data Query.5. We studied the security of network accounting system, and compared the merits and disadvantage of it based on network layer with applycation layer.
