With high speed, high precision, multi-parameters, multi-functions, automatic test platform, as the results of continuous development of automated test technology, has been widely applied in aviation, aerospace, marine and many other areas to provide quality assurance for a variety of sophisticated equipment. Telemetry component is an important part of aircraft which provides an important basis for the vehicle's design. Therefore, precise and comprehensive test for telemetry components has an important significance.In order to overcome the shortages exist in the telemetry components test such as time-consuming and tedious steps, test equipment, and to bring inconvenience many shortcomings, and to save time and energy in the test, this paper design and achieved a fast, simple, full-featured and has a strong mobility platform for automated testing of telemetry components that can help tester to complete all the testing operations within a short time.The platform includes an industrial control computer as the control unit to control the test process; signal generation and reception unit including analog signal card, integrated digital signal card can generate a variety of required signals, such as the slow-varying signals, RS422 signals, parallel signals, image signals, and has the ability to judge the accuracy of signal transmission after receiving the signal from telemetry component and demodulating it; parametric test unit including an oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer, an arbitrary waveform generator can also take parametric test to baseband and RF signals of telemetry components; platform of software runs on Windows operating systems, and the development and maintenance of the platform are in LabWindows/CVI integrated development environment which is based on virtual instrument and has the ability to analysis the test data and automatically generates the test report. System test shows that the entire test platform can meet all the test requirements and has strong practicality and scalability.
