Study On Guangxi Oral Archives And Its Collection

With the rapid development of social economic and people's growing demand in culture, higher requirements are being put forward to the collection structure of archives. Oral archives play a vital role in enriching the archives collection, improving archives structure and saving the culture heritage. As a new field of archives and an important part of archives information and resource, oral archives are attracting more and more attentions in the archives industry. And oral archives are carried out by more and more archives institutes and organizations, oral archives are entering into a standardization road in some area. Guangxi oral archives can not only enrich Guangxi archives collection, improve archives collection structure, better the people first image of Guangxi archives, but also enhance the development of economy and culture in Guangxi. But Guangxi oral archives collection can not be carried out so smoothly because of the weak consciousness in oral archives, difficult coordination of related departments, shortage of human and financial resources, lack the protection of laws and regulations and other factors. Therefore, to ascertain the actual development status of Guangxi oral archives and try to find out the appropriate strategy for the collection of Guangxi oral archives are this paper's intention and purpose. Using field investigation, incomplete deduction and other study methods, deep analysis are conducted to the categories , characteristics and value of Guangxi oral archives, and the constraints for Guangxi oral archives collection are pointed out. Based on the rich experience in oral archives collection from home and abroad, suggestions are proposed to Guangxi oral archives collection, hoping the study theory of Guangxi oral archives will be further enriched and improved.
