The Value Realization Of Oral Archives From The Perspective Of Historical Research

The rise of oral history and the rapid development of modern information technology not only have an important impact on history,but also bring vitality and challenges to archival studies.With the deepening of people's understanding of the importance of memory salvage work,various departments and trades in various regions have carried out a large number of oral practice work,oral history has formed a large number of oral archives information resources,not only enriching the archives collection resources,but also injecting new vitality into the archives compilation works.However,due to the unique formation process and mode of oral archives,the nature of archives is made possible.In the academic circles,it has been questioned for a long time.Although the practice of oral work is large in quantity,complete in content and wide in scope,there is no unified organizational planning and perfect theoretical guidance,which makes the information resources of oral archives unable to be effectively exploited and utilized,resulting in the waste of human,material and financial resources.In this paper,supported by the existing theoretical and practical results of archives,history and management disciplines,the author summarizes the related research on Oral Archives in China,expounds the problems faced by the development and utilization of oral archives and the relevant countermeasures,and puts forward the development trend of the development and utilization of oral archives.Firstly,this paper rationalizes the development status and theoretical research results of oral archives work at home and abroad by means of network research and literature research,so as to summarize and analyze the current situation,characteristics and shortcomings of oral archives research at home and abroad,and to clarify the necessity of strengthening the development and utilization of oral archives information resources.Secondly,based on the analysis of the relationship between oral archives and related concepts in the formation process of oral archives,it is proposed that oral archives and oral historical materials in a broad sense are different names of the same thing,including oral historical archives and narrow oral archives,while oral archives in a narrow sense are information resources of oral archives formed by the classification,collation,identification and organization of oral historical archives,so as to clarify the oral archives.The relationship between archives and oral historical materials,oral historical archives and oral history further shows that oral archives have the characteristics of filling historical gaps,correcting false and false information,unique oral perspective and vivid historical details,and are irreplaceable important materials in historical research.Then,according to the characteristics of oral archives,it is pointed out that the development of oral archives information resources is faced with such problems as authenticity of oral contents,one-sidedness of the selection of oral archives,and imperfection of standardized organization.From this point of view,it is proposed that the relevant countermeasures of utilizing oral archives resources from the perspective of historical research,through standardizing the process of oral interviews,perfecting the methods of organizing and filing oral archives,and defining the relevant development.Use principles to improve the utilization rate of oral archives resources.Finally,the article looks forward to the future prospects of the development and utilization of oral archives,and puts forward the trend of standardization of the construction of oral archives resources,specialization of operation mode,socialization of indexing and description,and diversification of subject analysis under the digital background.By summarizing and drawing lessons from the practice and theoretical research on Oral Archives and oral history in archives,history,journalism and other disciplines at home and abroad,this paper tries to put forward reasonable countermeasures and future prospects for the development and utilization of oral archives information resources in China,hoping to provide reference for theoretical research and practical work of Oral Archives in China.
