The Research Of Micro Blog's Function Of Supervision By Public Opinions

As the emerging platform in recent years, micro blog is simple, convenient and quick, and is outstanding for its performance in spreading emergency information. It not only changes the traditional communication model, but also manifests powerful energy in supervision by public opinions.This research chooses the supervision by public opinions of micro blog as the subject, and analyzes the classical cases in micro blog transmission in detail, comparing the differences among blog, micro blog and traditional media in the supervision by public opinions, and the effect of micro blog in the supervision by public opinions, on this basis, is concluded. The author of this thesis holds that in the field of supervision by public opinions, micro blog has the following four functions: first, open up new channels to reflect social problems; second, integrate several media to strengthen the traditional supervision; third, let off emotional suppression and achieve integrative social reconciliation; fourth, promote political democratization process. The author of this thesis, after analysis, holds that in the process of supervision by public opinions, micro blog has the problems of confusing supervision and view caused by information overload, supervision and dislocation caused by information misreading and supervision power weakened by fake and exaggerated information, etc. Therefore, this thesis proposes from the following three aspects: first, perfect statutory management and tighten supervision over micro blog; second, strengthen the guidance of micro blog; third, improve the technological capability and promote the propagation consciousness.
