Evaluation Of Media Influence Of Inclusive Media In China Three Gorges Project

Two purposes have given birth to this study: the theatrical one is to do a comprehensive evaluation of media influence which considering of different types of media with a unified index series; and the practical one is to know better of the operational status of the propaganda system in China Three Gorges Project. Index series especially for evaluating media influence of inclusive media in the Three Gorges Project was established based on the formers'achievement in research. AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), especially the group decision method, was used to product an internal ranking list of media influence of inclusive media in China Three Gorges Project. Study found that China Three Gorges Hall, China Three Gorges Construction Yearbook and Website of China Three Gorges Corporation are the top three of the list. This evaluation of media influence of inclusive media in China Three Gorges Project is a good test and verify to confirm whether our new founded index series or AHP method is usable to do a comprehensive evaluation of media influence which considering of different types of media. Also, some new findings may be meaningful too. As to the results of our ranking list, every top three inclusive media usually plays the role of a server, much like a media who is also actually an"Opinion Leader". More service, more influence. It is useful to recognize this kind of special status and role of inclusive media in China Three Gorges Project, both theatrical and practical: it is not only useful for us to promote and perfect the propaganda system in China Three Gorges Project, but also a complement to"Opinion Leaders"theory.
