Study On Mechanism Of Library's Information Reference Service For Migrant Workers

Since China carry up reforming and opening-up policy, the social has been gradually appear the special groups-----migrant worker. Poverty and toil are persecuted them, for lacking of the knowledge and information. Public library are funding to build by government, and it has the responsibilities to disseminate the knowledge and information to the migrant worker. Information reference service is the more effective way to the migrant workers. So, this subject is proposed.This article proposed the operating mechanism of the library information reference service for migrant worker by the survey way, the comparison of reference way. First of all, we find out the information needs of the migrant worker by investigating in Shanghai and Nanjing. Then, on the basis of the migrant worker feature and the results of the questionnaire, we proposed the librarian safeguard mechanism. Finally, library reference service working mechanism by devised for migrant worker.Improving the migrant workers current situation is the essential part of the harmonious society. Library information service mechanism is better for growing for the migrant workers, at the same time, it will more help for harmonious development of cities.
