The Study On Public Libraries' Service In Chang-zhu-tan Facing The Migrant Workers

The Public Library Manifesto,which was issued by UNESCO,clearly states that public libraries provide services to all on the basis of equality.Migrant workers are the produce of the process of urbanization in China and typical social vulnerable groups.With the development of society,the cultural information needs of migrant workers have been increasing,and presents the characteristics of diversification.It is the responsibility of the public library to carry out various forms of services and activities for migrant workers.In the six provinces of central China,Chang-zhu-tan Urban Agglomeration is the forerunner of the construction of the national urban agglomeration,attracting a large number of migrant workers to develop.Migrant workers are spread all over the world,and the development of Chang-zhu-tan is closely related to its development.The public library to the needs of Migrant Workers Cultural information oriented,innovate forms of service and activities,enrich the cultural life of migrant workers to help them achieve self promotion.It is the need to perform the service function of public culture,but also a return of migrant workers.This article through literature survey,network survey method,questionnaire survey method,inductive method,based on an overview of the public library services facing the migrant workers,the service policy and security,service forms and activities as a starting point,and the bibliobuses service of Changsha Library as an example,investigating the information needs of migrant workers and the uses of service,investigating public libraries' services in Chang-zhu-tan facing the migrant workers.Then analyzes One divides into two: firstly,summarizing the main achievements,mainly reflected in: paying attention to service diversification and humanization;some services are recognized,and gradually establish a brand;service policy of continuous improvement better protect the cultural rights and interests of migrant workers.Then the article analyzes the main problems,such as the library service policy is not perfect,service publicity is lack,service activities and form is single,network service platform is lack of management and the reading initiative of migrant workers is lack.Finally,aiming at specific problems,puts forward corresponding countermeasures to optimize the public libraries' services for migrant workers in Chang-zhu-tan,namely: further improving the service policy and protecting the cultural rights and interests of migrant workers;taking the initiative to carry out multiple service propaganda during the whole process;innovating in service on the basis of enhancing the quality of service;strengthening the management of the network service platform;integrating more social forces to participate in services;strengthening the care of migrant workers,and guiding them use the library services effectively.
