Many family have own car by the growing life .The high-speed road is in many cities and countries .The incidence of traffic accidents are increasing year with the growing popularity of motor vehicles now.we must pay attention to reduce banding automotive in our country and the world .The important direction which how to reduce the traffic accidents and lighten the traffic accidents is our direction. The paper gives a general description of the research background, the status now and future development trend of the automobile collision avoidance radar,as well as recent issues such as its performance requirement, detecting news, work frequency, radar signal, etc. The paper adopts mililmeter wave and LFMCW radar,so this way makes system structure simple, the sending spectrum is narrow, system cost is lower, and the effect is very good.It analyzes the inherent between the compution amount and the accuracy of FFT,and proposes ZFFT transform methord to improve FFT. Both in theory and experimental results show the proposed method is superior to traditional FFT.The DSP chip is uesd as the core data processing of the automobile anti-collision millimeter-wave radar system. The system can automatically detect the relative distance and relative velocity between your car and the frontal car,and TMS320VC5412 DSP chip as singal processing part, to ensure the system is simple and cost reduction.False alarm is a serious problem during the process of collision avoidance radar, this paper tries to eliminate false targets from improvements on the rader waveform and signal processing, for reducing the false alarm rate.Through improvement, It reduces the false alarm rate effectively.
