Linear frequency modulation continuous wave (LFMCW) radar has been applied more and more widely in civil area such as anti-collision in car and defense area, because of its better performance in no blind range, high range resolution and low emission power. In this thesis, focused on the LFMCW radar, signal processing technique is studied. The main research works include:a) According to system requirements of LFMCW Radar, a scheme for digital signal processing is proposed. The circuit design of the digital signal processing board is accomplished, including A/D converter and digital down-converter circuit, FPGA circuit, DSP circuit, interface circuit and power supply circuit. The schematic circuit design, printed circuit board design and manufacture, debugging of the digital signal processing board are finished;b) The technique of movement target detection (MTD) for LFMCW radar is investigated. Software of MTD for LFMCW Radar is designed, programmed and debugged, and the performance evaluation is accomplished. The differences of the echo signal between automobile anti-collision radar and fixed radar are analyzed. A method of distinguishing anti-collision targets from roadside interference based on the relationship of distance and angle of targets is adopted, and simulation results are given.c) Outdoors experiments of the LFMCW Radar are accomplished, and the experimental results verify the correction and effectiveness of the proposed digital signal processing board and the MTD method.
