With China’s growing social economic reform and opening up has intensified, China’s per capita car ownership is growing, the consequent growth of road traffic accidents on the rise. According to relevant survey data show that in all kinds of traffic accidents, rear-end collisions are the most common. The main cause rear-end accidents are two important reasons for fog and other inclement weather led to low visibility, the driver fatigue uninterrupted driving causing slow response. Therefore, for the above paper designs a car fog ARM-based collision warning system in order to ensure traffic safety. The system works as follows: When the cars on the road, radar sensors in real-time measurement of the vehicle and the vehicle in front of the actual distance and relative speed and other information, real-time measurement of the vehicle speed sensor on the vehicle speed and other information, and enter the information into the ARM processor, the processor calculates from the current alarm conditions in real time according to pre-written anti-collision alarm model, and compared with the actual distance, the actual distance is less than when the alarm from the alarm system to alert the driver to slow down.In terms of hardware, the system uses the bad weather from rain, snow, fog, etc.FMCW radar gun as a design element distance, using a model for the production of Samsung S3C2440 ARM9-series chips as the main control system around the unit and the vehicle information acquisition unit and control unit integrates a 4.3-inch TFT display as a display unit to form the LED lights and buzzer sound and light alarm unit, and a button to select the circuit. And this system is also designed for CAN bus communication unit of the vehicle information acquisition unit and control unit of communication.In the system software, the main anti-collision alarm model prepared as a design basis for the software, and on this basis, based on the public to join the study of behavioral science knowledge to determine the fatigue of the driver’s reaction time at different ages so that the system not only applies to sober drivers also apply to driver fatigue.Finally, according to the existing conditions of the laboratory, designed to simulate the experimental program, and according to this scheme to build a vehicle collision avoidance warning system complete hardware structure, and use C language to complete the system debugging environment in ADS compiler prove car crash correctness alarm systems theory.
