USB(Universal Serial Bus)interface, with its advantages such as small size, low powerconsumption, high transmission rate ,plug and play and so on, has become the standardinterface for electronic equipment; and many short-range wireless communicationtechnologies such infrared, Bluetooth, also are widely used among many electronic devices.The WUSB(Wireless Universal Serial Bus), combining the USB interface technology withshort-distance wireless communication technology, will inevitably replace the existing wiredUSB technology, and become the trend of the future.Based on the analysis of several short-range wireless communication technology andUSB interface technology, combining the USB interface technology with the close-low-powerwireless technology, this paper choices the radio frequency chip nRF24LU1 of NORDICcompany and designes a peer-based file transfer system. This paper is divided into thefollowing parts: the first part ,after studying the USB communication protocol, introducessome features of USB and some concepts and terminologies of USB protocol; the second partis the system hardware design, after describing the USB module and the RF transmit / receivemodules ,the hardware is designed; the third part is the software design, it elaborates the USBdriver design, the system's firmware programming and PC programming respectively; thefinal part is the system debugging, it gives the process of system debugging and someperformance test results.After debugging, the paper does some tests on transmission distance ,transmission rateand the accuracy of data transmission of this system indoor and outdoor, experiment showsthat the system can transfer different formats and different file sizes from point to pointbetween computers in indoor in 60m range, the transmission rate is about 240kbps.With theadvantages as small size, low power consumption, and stable performance, etc, the system hasa certain applications value.
