Along with social progress and technological development, the security of a city dependent on the video surveillance is becoming increasingly stronger. Video surveillance system, as the main body of video surveillance which is part of social security, prevention and control system, its ease of usability and practicality in achieving the overall effect of video surveillance has become increasingly larger proportion of play. At the present stage, simply browsing and playback video has been far from satisfying the demand for modern city on the video surveillance; And in such situation in which client and server is an exponential growth, the last ordinary single cascade model becomes overwhelmed, seriously affecting the efficiency of the system;The various simultaneously procedures losing control phenomenon is not a small challenge to the continued operation of the system.This paper introduced a enterprise-level web platform called openEAP. It's convenient to deploy and update the application on openEAP; In building a web page also has the support of powerful tag library to simplify development process; And its external interface has a lot of external programs to interact.This paper analyzes several common currently using video surveillance systems, for the inadequate of existing video surveillance system, discusses the possibility of running and updating system on openEAP, used the openEAP support for web project, designed a B/S architecture framework for video surveillance system and establish the environment for the deployment and update. The framework is divided into three levels in the system, which use with the role control mode of the openEAP to achieve separate control to the access of the system. The front use the web page display interaction with the man-machine, the middle layer use the video streaming server to make the video streaming forward, the backgroud use the watchdog of the server to ensure that the video surveillance systems sustainable business. The web pages through the interaction with OCX, get the video information from video streaming server and display them in the frame, and use tag library to reconstruct the page, which reduce the repetitive work and improve the productivity of the establishment of the page; The middle layer, video streaming server, as the link between the underlying hardware DVRs and video surveillance system, make the forwarding of video streaming and mask the differences of the underlying hardware environment, reduced the network congestion which due to repeated requests to the video streaming server, improved browsing and playback system for smoother and concurrency; Designed a system service watchdog, to monitor various simultaneously running servers of video surveillance systems, and can restart under the timing rules to solve a variety of reasons to the various simultaneously procedures losing control phenomenon, and it can automate update servers' programs. The paper prove the system's availability by experiments and provide improvement of the data.Finally, summarizes the research work and points out future research directions.
