The Research Of The Word Of Mongolian Language Based On UNICODE And OpenType Font

The Word Processor is a productivity software, it can significantly improves the work efficiency, in modern times, computer users can't without it. But under the rapid growth of the globalization, the closed document format and non-standard code system restrict the communication and data exchange, it also menace the data security. On the same time, this is the main reason that causes the Mongolian information processing system developed repeatedly and incompatible with each other. In this paper we summarize and analyze the document formats and code systems that used by many word processors, then introduce a word processing method that use OpenType font techniques and based on ISO/IEC 10646 & UNICODE standard.In the first chapter, we review the success and failure of Mongolian information processing in the past two decade, then point out the importance of developing a new kind of Mongolian word processing system. In the chapter 2 and chapter 3, introduce the scheme, data model and document format of the word processing system. The chapter 4 and chapter 5 expounds the scripts and object's designing and implementation method by the view of realization. Scripts processing include editing, explaining, typesetting and output. Among these, the explaining is the most important part of the scripts processing. In the past, word processing system haven't it. In this part we give a detailed introduction to the font processing techniques, character of complex scripts and layout engine. Image and scripts exist together in same document, it is the basic feature of modern word processing system. The MWord have many kind of graphical objects, on account of limited paper size, we only give a brief introduction to the definition of the object classes. Haven't given any kind of realization code. In chapter 6, introduce a Mongolian Smart Input method, it can be used by many kind of Mongolian code system. The last chapter gives a long term plan to expands the MWord's processing ability and globalization.
