A Research On Current Situation In Farm Houses' Construction Of Gansu Province

To strengthen the building of new socialist countryside, to better meet the farmers and cultural rights, our country launched a Farm House projects. The goals of the Farm House-building are to cover all administrative villages in China, since inception, the role of libraries in rural projects have been initially apparent. The establishment of the Farm House where people's reading habits have been gradually cultivated, spiritual and cultural life is becoming richer. Through the "Farm House" building, both the farmers'reading habits are cultivated, but also cultivate a rural publications market. As the first demonstration Farm House building, the construction of Farm Houses of Gansu Province is relatively a long time, and it kept exploration of functioning in the process of building, so the experience in construction of Farm House has significant representation.This paper selects Farm Houses in Silver City, and Kim Chang-County, Gansu Province, as the object of study, through field surveys and interviews and other research methods, we grasped the actual situation and problems of the Farm Houses' construction in Gansu Province. In this paper, we analyzed the causes in-depth, and on the basis of comprehensive research on development experience of other provinces libraries, we put forward relevant countermeasures on the future development of Farm Houses'construction in Gansu Province. We also presented some suggestions on how to extend the function of Farm House in Gansu, in order to achieve sustainable development.
