Radar Display and Control terminal is an important part of the radar system. Its responsibility is accurate control to radar, effective processing with received data and showing target information to the radar controller in an intuitive, effective and accurate way.With the development of computer, communications, software and network technology, embedded systems have gradually been used in various fields. With embedded system Radar Display and Control cannot only reduces size, cost, and can enhance system reliability and flexibility, but also improve overall system performance. With the development of the image processing and display technologies, it's a trend that embedded systems become a platform for display and control terminal.This thesis had designed and implemented radar display and control terminals, according to requirements and technology development rends in radar control terminal. The design of radar terminal mainly includes architecture design, interface library development, software platform constructing and terminal software development. In the thesis, overall system's design was provided. The hardware platform adopts ICETEK-OMAP3530-Mini board basing on OMAP3530 processor. Hardware platform adopts embedded Linux system. Under the requirements of radar image, OpenGL is used as graphics display tool. Utilizing OpenGL platform-independent features, radar interface library had been designed. In this paper, it constructs Qt/Embedded development platform, implemented radar interface library in embedded platform. Finally embedded radar terminal interface is implemented, which is based on Linux operating system. This paper give a solution of coordinate transformation and make radar image scanning lines and antennas simultaneous. A friendly interface has been designed, which can adjust the display range and scan speed and set the parameters of radar. Experimental results show that the system which realizes display and control terminal on Linux embedded platform and get real-time radar image have high practical value.
