With the development of the public's recognization about the importance of water environmenmts. Biological monitoring is more and more important in the security evaluating of the water environments, It is a kind of way in monitoring the water quality by the behavioral changes of living organisms, which we call the on-line biomonitoring. We can get the status of the water quality by analyzing the data that was obtained and recorded by on-line biomonitoring. This kind of on-line biomonitoring techniques can reflect the changes of water quality quickly with the high sensitivity and real-time.A real-time water quality monitoring method in video sequence of moving background is proposed. This research mainly study the application of computer vision in fish movement behavior monitoring. The main purpose of this paper is that putting forth on-line biomonitoring methods to acquire the features of fish movement behavior, which achieving early warning of abnormal water. The specific content of this research including:real-time extracting the movement trajectory of fish;a method for describing and analysising the temporal trajectories based on sequence set;a neural network mechanism for efficiently discriminating significant changes of the trajectories;the design of water quality monitoring platform based on temporal trajectories.Firstly,We study a method for real-time extracting the fish's movement trajectory.Extracting the fish's movement trajectory by using a method based on multi-frame images,for the case of this study,a refined extracting method of fish trajectory is proposed,the trajectory provide the basis for further analysis of later research.Secondly,A neural network mechanism for efficiently discriminating significant changes of the trajectories is proposed.The traditional clustering methods can get good results for the data of a large number of trajectory, but spend a lot of memory space. Based on the above characteristics, this paper proposes an improved contrast mechanism based on neural network, this method is not limited to the amount of data and the size of the memory space occupied is relatively small, increase the efficiency of contrast mechanism of fish trajectory.Thirdly.A method for describing and analysising the temporal trajectories is proposed based on sequence set.Analysis the characteristics of the fish's movement trajectory.This paper proposes a method based on a sequence set and the fish's movement trajectory. We represent the fish's movement behavior by using a sequence of characters,and then,a continuous trajectory of the character is converted to discrete sequence,reducing the computational order of magnitude, moreover providing data base for the back operation.Finally,The design of water quality monitoring platform based on temporal trajectories.Study the development of the software of computer vision-based fish movement behavior monitoring system.In this paper,we study the architecture of the computer vision based on fish movement behavior monitoring system,and develop the prototype software of the system. Further more, the software monitor the water quality timely by analysising the data of movement behavior.
