As a 3.9 G Mobile communication technology, the core technical specifications of TD-LTE have been frozen. To achieve its commercial operation and industrialization as soon as possible, it is essential to carry out the research on TD-LTE UE's test and implement technology.This paper focuses on the test tolerance of LTE UE RRM conformance test specification and the algorithm of RSRP Measurement, and conducted in-depth research of them. Firstly, the basic concepts of UE conformance test, mobility management and RRM of cellular networks were presented. Then, on the basis of the introduction of the test system uncertainty and test tolerance, a method of test tolerance calculating for LTE RRM conformance test specification was proposed. The influences of rounding in calculation are taken into consideration in later discussion, and a suggestion on the way of rounding is made. After this, the proposed method was employed in three typical practical test cases to discuss the problems which may happen in the actual process. At last, the conventional UE RSRP measurement algorithms were summarized. Because of the discontinuous downlink slots, the UE of TDD system has less RS that can be measured than FDD system, which reduces the measurement accuracy of TDD system. To solve this problem, a synchronization signal assisted RSRP measurement algorithm was proposed, and a link level simulation platform was set up to compared the algorithms with each other. The results showed that the synchronization signal based RSRP measurement algorithm could improve the measurement accuracy of TDD UE significantly.
