With the incessant improving and development of EPA standard, more and more manufactures begin to develop and produce EPA products. But due to the complexity of EPA protocol, there ware many different implementing methods, optional items and the universality of parameter ranges. If they ware not tested in EPA protocol conformance, the conformance and interoperability of different manufacture's EPA devices would become one of key factors conditioning speedy development and spreading on the market of EPA products. When many manufactures interlinked devices, the conformance testing can check well conformance-degree of device implement with relevant standard, accordingly the probability of successfully interlink among different implements which ware developed basing on identical standard was improved. According to the communication character and request, combining IEC 9646, the test content of EPA conformance test was divided into 5 parts: service test, object attribute test, protocol state machine test, clock synchronization test and deterministic schedule test and EPA abstract test suit was described using tree and tabular combined describing method. Protocol implement conformance state(PICS) was implemented by adopting creatively XML. Besides,static test was implemented. EPA protocol conformance test system architecture was presented. Besides,EPA protocol conformance test system model was presented.EPA conformance test system developed had already tested EPA devices developed by Zhejiang SUPCON and Shenyang Institute of SIA. The test result showed it can precisely test whether an EPA device was accord with EPA protocol, So it will possess great practical applied value and wide development room. In fact, the friend software interface and handy operation of the test software will drive the development of EPA standard in great degree.
