Increasing popularity of mobile phones today, it is undeniable that the phone really brought a lot of convenience to the user. It meets the demands of conversing anytime and anywhere for the user. But at the same time, the phone also gives the user a lot of embarrassment and inconvenience. Suddenly a call comes in the meeting venue will disrupt the atmosphere, and answering call while driving would be dangerous, etc. It may cause misunderstanding to the caller if hanging up the call. Sometimes I think a good rest and do not want to be awakened, or I need peace of mind to deal with things and do not want to be distubed, etc. But there are a number of unimportant incoming calls. With the growing demands for DND(Do Not Disturb), there have appeared a lot of interference-free class of service on the market. They are implemented based on the terminal or the network. However, the call firewall implemented based on the terminal requires a higher-end, and the service function is single. DND service implemented based on the network is difficult to access, and it can only be achieved by the default setting of the callee. These issues make these services stagnated.Non-urgent non-disturbance service described in this paper is implemented based on VAS2000 platform. It proposes improvements for the single function, access difficulty and other problems. As the program uses call forwarding supplementary service provided by the existing GSM network, it needs no new requirements for the network and terminal. The program modify the user's call forwarding settings in real time by way of MAP interface directly connected to the HLR. And it even breaks the traditional treatment of incoming calls just by the callee. It must have a very broad market prospects. In this paper, the dedicated scheme of design and implementation is presented in detail. The main contents include:background of Call Forwarding technology and VAS2000 value-added services system; requirement analyzing of the service from the service function and performance; general design of the whole system and detailed design and implementation of service logic program; the test procedure of the service, the application and deployment of the system. The last part of this paper gives a prospect for the development of the service. |
