The Design And Engineering Practice On SMS Center Of Ningxia Telecom CDMA Network

As the traditional operator of hardlink, China Telecom is now impacted greatly by mobile communication business. Mobile communication business substitute for traditional one is an inevitable trend in recent years, especially in this year, the growth of a fixed telephone users become negative growth in some provinces, and mobile users first quarter still to millions of speed in growth. Enter the mobile telecommunication field, carry out the full service operation has been China Telecom important strategic transformation direction.2008 since may, China telecom is actively prepared to accept CDMA mobile network the preparatory work, China Telecom departments have been going to prepare mobile business operation. Short message service is the foundation of a lot of value-added service. In order to meet in November of 2008 China telecom launched self-owned service and business, CDMA network short message service center construction is imminent.In this paper, we firstly discuss the system structure of short message of CDMA network, and then design the development scheme according to actual demand about CDMA network short message service center of China Telecom. For the convenience of the actual implementation of the construction, we discourse from network structure of the whole SMS, basic framework of the CDMA SMSC and interface of CDMA SMSC.Secondly we discuss the construction and the program of China Telecom CDMA SMSC on the basis of the infrastructure of original Unicom and Telecom hardlink. At the same time, taking the implement of the CDMA SMS in Ningxia telecom for example, we summarize from five aspects such as Construction requirements,data model, network plan, resource plan and actual commissioning test in detail.In the final of this paper, we discuss something about network optimization of CDMA SMSC after the system online.The CDMA SMSC of Ningxia telecom build and put into operation, ensure the China telecom launched self-owned mobile communication business. Ningxia telecom SMS amount nearly 70 million, accounting for about one-tenth of mobile telecommunications business income of ningxia in 2010. Ningxia telecom CDMA SMSC after many network optimization, SMS network quality improved obviously, all kinds of index are superior to that of China telecom group average.The CDMA SMSC construction and network optimize in the paper have higher reference value for the future.
