Scientific heat metering becomes the focus of heat charging reformation. Now scientific heat metering is missing in our heating enterprise and management of heating is out of proportion to its development. There already is relatively matured heat metering technology in foreign countries, however, high price, technology monopoly strong and after-sales maintenance difficulties etc. restrict its widespread use in China. Heat metering device developed independently in domestic market has little function, poor stability and service life short etc., which is need to resolve. Thus it is particularly important to develop heat metering system suitable for China.This project is applying RFID, intelligence measuring technology, wireless communication technology and network techniques to heat metering system. Heat metering system compound by RFID and Wireless Network Techniques as per up-to-date international standard and domestic standard is strong functional. RFID has an advantage in automatic identification to node meanwhile wireless ad hoc network has a distant transmission distance even though no wholly labeled on node. Innovative points of this thesis is to build wireless communication network suitable for housing district, public works or enterprise and public institution heat metering management though compound by RFID and wireless ad hoc network, taking advantage of coverage area by ad hoc network and automatic identification to node by RFID.This thesis mainly includes the following respects.Firstly, with reference to up-to-date international and domestic standard, upon deeply study on radio technology design proposal for heat metering system compound by RFID and wireless network techniques is put forward. This system can realize prepayment by users, distant transmission by heat metering data etc., satisfying requirements of household heat metering in central heating system. Secondly, design research into heat metering node. This node is consist of main control unit, temperature collection, flow monitoring, wireless transmission, RFID reading, display etc. Hardware design and software programmer of each parts are completed. Xbee-Pro module heat built in heat metering node realizes low power consumption and high stability of transmission of heat metering data. Heat metering node with RFID can realize prepayment and automatic identification of users.Thirdly, upon research on wireless ad hoc network and against status of domestic heat metering, multi-stage transmission heat metering communication network combined by mesh network and clumps nets is designed. The underlying network layer is adopting mesh network technology network mode, constituting fishing nets of network architecture. Communication of heat metering data can be transmitted in multiple paths, more stable than the one hop network.Fourthly, research into heat metering system communication protocols. MAC toward data link layer and AODC of network layer are researched, transmission mode of heat metering system data is ascertained.Fifthly, networking test. Metering node built in Xbee-Pro, Router and the networking experimental platform of Coordinator are set up. Test is carried out towards simulation based on RFID heat metering system network structure. The result shows that communication of this system is stable and reliable, which can greatly enhance automation level of thermal management.In brief, theoretical analysis, software and hardware design and test shows that heat metering system designed can fulfils reliable transmission of multi-user hot measurement data and satisfy requirements of household heat metering in central heating system. This system is of advanced technology, novel design and strong function etc. Upon further improvement for design a scientific metering method will be provided to our heating enterprise and enhance management of heat system.
