This topic provides reliable, efficient, dedicated portable test equipment for a kind of certain digital converter of telemetry system. With the rapid development of embedded technology, this thesis will integrate the computer control functions and FPGA logic control board into one single circuit boards, achieve all the functions of the original digital converter test-equipment, and improve the reliability, smaller in size, power reduced. This thesis studies form the following aspects:First of all, on the basis of the traditional test-equipment, this thesis improve its control computer parts, replace the control computer by the ARM microprocessor, improve and upgrade the hardware,power consumption of the test bench. After analysis the technical indexes given by the task, arise the design plan of the embedded of test programs: ARM microprocessor and FPGA system as the main control section, ARM microprocessor realize all the functions of the original computer, FPGA test system achieve all logic control and interface timing.Secondly, give the introduction of each embedded test-equipment communication interface hardware circuit, and PCM decoding in the FPGA device, the sending and receiving of the asynchronous serial data and data compiled frame.Next comes to the USB, TF card, LCD and other external interface circuits of ARM microprocessor, the choice and realization method between microprocessor and FPGA communication interface.Finally, the select and migration of the embedded operating system, operating system, and written of some driven program.The embedded test-equipment have main completed the following functions after upgraded: the simulation of generate position control, computer words, high accuracy control instructions; sending and receiving of the data, compare and analyze according to the data and generate test reports. Through compared with the working index of the traditional test-equipment, the embedded test-equipment is capable of completing all the tasks of traditional test-equipment, even smaller, lower power consumption, effectively reducing the overall system cost and maintenance costs.
