Telemetry is a kind of survey technology, it can detect the parameter of objects with certain distants and store or pass the result to the receiving device .The system that adopts this technology is called telemetry system.The main purpose of the system is to master various telemetry parameter timely and integrallty, which is critical for a telemetry equipment.Image Telemetry system is a image capture, storage and transmission system. As one of the image processing system, it can provide a more direct method for recording the diffient states of the object at different times.The subject of "Image Acquisition System and Storage System" is to design a image telemetry acquisition equipment that can improve the data processing speed and capacity.The system consists of the video image acquisition unit, image storage unit, wireless radio frequency unit and the data reading unit.Image acquisition module that convert the PAL video singal of CCD image sensor to digital singal. Image storage unit consists of Flash and FPGA,it's function is to recode the video and image data. Wireless radio frequency unit consists of nRF24L01 and FPGA. The system also includes a USB2.0 interface for the purpose of reading the stored image data, which can be read the data from the flash quickly by the interface.The system of the design uses the Altera's second-generation NiosⅡsoftcore as the processor core, with its wealth IP cores ,using a single-chip FPGA implementation the image acquisition and storage system.Tardware and software based on FPGA of the design has been completed and the experiments also prove it fully meet the requirement.
