To 2000, Sydney Olympic official site produced incredible 65 million hits, which is 32 times of the Atlanta Olympic Games period. The Internet's strong momentum gives the traditional media a great impact and pressure. Not affected by time and space limitations and the ability to store the outdated information, these characteristics of the internet not only make the audience increased dramatically, but also a serious threat to the existing games television broadcast's rights and interests of regional sales. Therefore the original development of the Internet gets the "ban" and suppression of the international organizing Committee. As Internet technology advances, the impact of Internet media is increasing, the International Olympic. Committee, under this pressure, change the policy of repression on the network. They created a good environment for the Olympics network media.China's Internet media this seed while germinating relatively late, but rapidly expanding, increasingly become the major tools of people to get all kinds of information and entertainment.
