With the rapid development of mobile communication technologies, the 3rd generation of mobile communication system (3G) has entered the commercial stage, but it is still unable to meet the demand for high-speed multimedia data services. The future communication development will choose LTE to drive the 3G mobile communication system towards 4G. In the mobile communications industry, tester is a very important part. It provides a unified test platform for the entire communication industry and promotes the sound development of the communication industry.This thesis is supported by the project "Development of TD-LTE Wireless Terminal Tester" which is a sub-project of the Major National Science and Technology Program "The Next-generation Broadband Wireless Mobile Communication Network". In this thesis, the technologies of the TI mutil-core DSP TMS320C6474 are deeply researched, and in which the followings are included:boot modes, semaphore module, high-speed serial data protocol OBSAI and serial RapidIO(SRIO), Gigabit Ethernet. The technologies have also been used in the baseband board of the TD-LTE tester. Relying on the baseband data plane, the thesis focuses on the following points:Based on the boot principle, I2C, EMAC and SPI secondary boot modes are achieved. The baseband board can choose the SPI FLASH boot mode or the EMAC dynamic boot mode according to the demand.A scheme of the data plane of the baseband board is proposed, with the overall architecture presented. The OBSAI and SRIO are deeply researched and implemented in the baseband board according to the characteristics of the system and multi-core DSP. Based on the design of the baseband board, the network communication function is achieved by debugging the EMAC module and transplanting the network development kit.The acheievment of this thesis has been applied in the TD-LTE wireless terminal tester.
