As mobile communication technology develops rapidly, heterogeneous network integration technology has become an inevitable trend. Heterogeneous network can enhance the system overage performance and expend system coverage; however, it also increase inter-system interference and cause access control problem when user terminal selects the network. To deploy femtocells in OFDM system, the interference between macro cells and femtocells is introduced. In order to evaluate how great such negative impact femtocells have on macro-cell's performance, the deployment and research status are introduced at first in the work, and then uplink capacity of femtocell and macro cell in OFDM system is analyzed. Outage capacity is deduced for different assumptions of home NodeB density, pathloss model and networking mode. We adapt layered Markov model to make calculation simply when there are large number of access network and too many services in heterogeneous network. At last, Matlab simulations adopted to compare performance of different scenarios show different networking mode should be adopted to satisfy the maximum total outage capacity under different home NodeB density, pathloss model and traffic demand conditions; layered Markov reduces computational complexity and ensure the effective transmission.
