Along with the development of information and communication technologies, and maritime satellite systems are growing popularity in people's daily lives. So making a research on the maritime satellite antenna control system has an important practical significance and broad prospects for development. The research is based on the Danish company Thrane & Thrane maritime satellite marine terminal as a reference, the major part of the ACU, the antenna control part, through the independent research of the antenna controller, we develop the test software for our own hardware system.The test software is design to realize three main functions:First, the antenna controller and PC can communicate in real-time, including the data sending and receiving and display in graphic curve mode; the second is that in order to improve the accuracy of the test, according to the measured data and curve figure, the test software can be modified correspondingly, including the time interval of the transmission of command data, the way the graphics show; third is in the testing process, such as an error can quickly get an error message, you can pop up an error message.Firstly, there is a detailed analysis of the communication protocol between the PC and ACU in the paper. Then according to the contents of the protocol, we can design the overall structure of the test software, the division of function modules and the design and implementation of each module, and finally debug and overall optimize the software detail. The test software is divided into several modules according to the functions designed:(1) Serial Communication Module:Serial communication module is the foundation of the software. Therefore, design and implementation of the module is directly related to the success of the accuracy of the test of the several modules behind, including the GPS and sensor testing.(2) Sensor Module:This module is also based on that the data can communicate in real-time, in the module including the instructions to send and receive, receive data processing, data are displayed in the PC as graph curves, so the relationship between the data changes and hardware can be directly observed in details and compare the curve with the foreign software tests, also the data show and save. (3) Software Interface Design Module:This module is relatively independent with the above three modules. In the software there needs to design following dialog boxes: the software main dialog, debuglnfo dialog box in the main dialog menu bar.In this paper, there is a detailed presentation to the above modules, and basically realized the function of test software. This thesis is basis written on the project of the Ministry of Communications "Research on the shipboard satellite terminal antenna's key technologies".
