With the vigorous development of shipping industry, the flow of goods is moving towards containerized transport. The main impact of container transport contains two factors:safety and efficiency. Regardless of each factor, the premise is the professional skill of container handling operations personnel. Relative to the traditional Training model that contains the process of demonstrated first by coach and the actual operation of equipment by trainees later, training with high simulation training simulator has unparalleled advantages for it does not take real device, short cycle, low-risk, weather resistant and so on. Virtual interactive technology is an important part of the container handling simulator, operators interactive human-computer interaction and simulation system through interactive equipment system for the purpose of training. In this paper, author first research the driver of the container quay cranes operation function and the movement of finger joints, construct a virtual hand using modeling software MultiGen Creator, then analyze the Data glove (DG5 Vhand 2.0) attitude data in real time gesture transmitted through Bluetooth device, achieve the interaction between driving the virtual hand movement and container handling simulator. The main contents in this paper are as follows:a. The paper completes the virtual gesture of 6 DOF (degrees of freedom) after analyzing and calculating the data of data glove and successfully drive the virtual hand;b. With the methods of collision detection and boundary limits, this paper has implemented the operation of the button and handle by virtual hand;c. This paper achieves practical research purposes by programming the virtual interaction of this article into the container crane loading simulator based on CAVE.
