Human-Computer interaction is the key technology of virtual reality field, which widelyused in aerospace,military,medical,education,entertainment,architecture,business and otherfields,its main purpose is to improve the interaction between users and computers from user’spoint, thereby increased the immersive and authenticity of the system.The Human-Computerinteraction technology based virtual hand collects hand data by an external device,then controlvirtual hand of three-dimensional environment,thus complete various interactive operation ofvirtual hand.The article discussed and studied related theories and key technologies ofHuman-Computer interaction technology based on virtual hand.Meanwhile interactiveinstances are designed in the platform of Virtools,algorithms of the article proposed areverified.The paper’s work mainly consists of the following components:(1)Establish the geometric model and motion model of virtual hand. Using of polygonmesh modeling method of3ds Max established a realistic geometric model of virtual hand;Analyzed physiological structure and motion characteristics of bone of real manpower,Motionmodel was carried out respectively to thumb and four fingers of virtual hand,complete thefoundation of hand control.(2)Achieve the movement mapping from manpower to virtual hand.Developed the dataacquisition module of data glove based on the platform of Virtools,completed the datacollection to data glove;Proposed the data conversion method based on the initial value,andconvert raw data to angle data successfully,solved the phenomenon of jump when the virtualhand begin to move,meanwhile used the method of constraint value on the processing ofoutreach,ensure the matching consistency of virtual hand and real manpower; Developed the data acquisition module of position tracker,completed the position information collection toreal manpower;Designed the motion control algorithm of hand,achieved translational motionand rotational motion of hand.(3)Achieve the interactive operation based on virtual hand.Carried on the thoroughresearch on gesture interaction of virtual hand, proposed the method of gesture determinationbased on high and low threshold.Introduces several comman method of bounding boxcollision detection based on the platform of Virtools,and realized the collision detection;Proposed the grab algorithm based on threshold angle, discussed the advantages of thisalgorithm;Verified the algorithm of the article proposed by instances,achieve a variety ofnatural gestures and the operation of grab the object by virtual hand,show that this algorithmis effectiveness and practical.
