The Design And Realization On ECG Telemonitoring Apparatus For Community Patients Based On GPRS

With its characteristics of randomness and risk,cardiovascular disease is one of the most dangerous threats to human life and health.. ECG tele-monitoring apparatus as a new type of monitoring device,which is of high real-time,convenience and flexibility, provides an effctive means for heart diseases' diagnosis and treatment.The purpose of this paper is to design a set of remote monitoring apparatus for community patients,which can be extended to family or community health care.It can monitor patients'lots of physiological parameters at any time,such as ECG, respiration, blood pressure, blood oxygen, pulse, etc.Thus it can play a role in prevention and care for heart attack patients with cardiovascular disease or sub-health groups.This designed remote ECG monitoring apparatus integrated embedded system technology and GPRS wireless communication technology advantages, complete ECG data acquisition, display, save, remote transmission using serial programming, multi-threading, Socket technology.Then port the cross-compiled ECG monitoring software to the designed embedded hardware platform to successfully achieve the real-time monitoring of patients.This ECG telemonitoring apparatus integrated acquisition-analysis transportation-diagnosis in one, has perfect electrocardiogram, respiration, blood pressure analysis function.Therefore,the doctor can integrate the results, made diagnosis advice and treatment therapy for the community patients. Morever,the system can shorten the distance between doctors and patients, provides high accuracy of ECG monitoring for patients. The experiment proved that the designed apparatus is able to accurately reflect and analyze the electrical activity of the patient's heart condition, and monitoring and diagnosis results will be notified timely to the patients so that patients can also get timely and professional diagnosis and treatment outside the hospital.
