The Design And Realization Of Upgraded Version For Data Quality Checking System

With the development of data warehouse and data mining technology, the telecom operators are building the business analyzing system; analyze a lot of complex daily data to support decision-making to improve their own competitive ability. GIGO (garbage in, garbage out) principle and many facts show that, the depth of business intelligence applications depend on the data quality. And that Data Quality Checking System provides comprehensive data quality assurance for business intelligence system, such as data verification monitoring, data problem warning, and data analysis and so on. With the increasing competition and the increasingly complex market environment, data quality problem become more serious. At the same time, telecom operators become more reliance on the daily data. There is an urgent need to update the Data Quality Checking System.Based on the background, this article gives design and implementation of an upgraded version for data quality checking system. This system expands the scope of the check object and makes communication with the problem management system, gets the goal of updating. The author participates in the work as follows:1. Report Files Checking Subsystem:It is used to checking the quality of the excel report files according to the designated checking items, and find the problems about the report data in time.2. Interaction with Data Problem Management:It is used to record and manage all the data problems at the Data Problem Management System.The system which the author participates has been on-line at the Beijing Mobile, working steady. It expands the scope of the check object and makes communication with the problem management system, gets the goal of updating.
