Workflow technology is a necessary requirement of the enterprise lean and informatization management. As electric power enterprise's information construction deepens progressively, electric power enterprises set up more and more business application systems between departments. They improve the management level of electric power enterprises and enhance the market competitiveness. However, many existing business applications cannot meet the needs of business changing and dynamic change, consequently restricting the development of enterprise application system's agility and adaptability, and increasing the costs of enterprise's information construction.In view of the above problem, in order to achieve the unified management of business processes in the electric power enterprise,with the current workflow technology as the research object, this paper designed and implemented an electric power enterprise workflow management platform with the features of adapt change and agile response. Firstly this paper made a thorough study on the workflow technology about the relevant basic concept of workflow, the functions and architectures of workflow management platform and other aspects. Then, combining the power enterprises'features and needs, an overall design of workflow management platform was made from the architecture and function structure aspects, and the main function of every module was designed in detail. Finally, it studied the component technology, including business component concept and characteristrics. On this basis, the platform was implemented basing on J2EE technology standards and using the JSF and EJB component technology and a real flow was used to test the platform to show the platform meets the design requirements and achieves the goal of this study.
