With the computer technology and multimedia technology developing and applying, people put forward higher request for different regional group communication and collaborative work, which is from traditional facing machine turned to user-oriented, virtual space network conference system came into being. It is the product of the combination of the virtual reality technology and multimedia technology, and has caught people's widespread attention for its good applied prospects and used value.This paper begins with an analysis of the deficiencies and limitations of the current multimedia conference system, and the characteristics and advantages of virtual space network conference are summarized, also the virtual human is introduced into system as a substitute of participant.Then the key technology - Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) in virtual space network conference system is studied. Based on this, the virtual conference environment that all participants can common experience is synthesized, in which participants locating in different locations can exchange information and collaborate in a natural way. Participants by manipulating virtual avatars to convey their information to others, to achieve "face to face" exchange effect. Aiming at the system characteristics, the existing distributed functions is extended, which improved the overall system performance.This paper also studies another main function modules, distributed collaborative preview. Distributed collaborative preview bases on virtual reality technology and network communication technology, by distributing messages to realize the collaboration of 3d model distributed operation. Appling this technology, users can easily operate off-site model, which feels like operating local model.Finally, based on the above techniques and theories, by integrating visual simulation software Vega and virtual human simulation software DI-Guy Scenario, develops a virtual space network conference system, and achieves its function.
