Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) and peer to peer (P2P) networks have common characteristics: distributed and self-organization, they are often referred to as self-organizing network. Resource sharing service is one of the main application areas of self-organizing network. After entering the network, the nodes share and download the resource with each other. However, while transporting resources in the network, the document distribution process often have problems, such as long transmission time due to the bandwidth differences between the nodes, transmission suspension because of nodes leaving the network, and high load caused by simultaneously transferring on multiple nodes, etc. How to efficiently transfer resources is the key to solve these problems. In the self-organizing network environment, a node not only has the right to download resources from any of the other nodes and enjoy the services provided by them, but also undertakes to improve network performance and obligation to maintain stability of the entire network. This feature is called the node's mutual aid. On the basis of node's mutual aid in the autonomous network and existing resources transmission algorithm, we proposed a new resource transmission path algorithm based on aid nodes in the self-organizing network. According to node's different aspects, such as network performance, processing speed and network load, selected the node that has outstanding assistance and low probability, then change resource transmission path to help service node and receiver node accomplish resource transmission with effective. The algorithm solves the three problems, first, using aid node to continue to transfer resources, while node leaves the network. The second is make aid node receive resources, and then transmitted to the destination node, in order to reduce download time. Third is improving problems with high network load. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively solve the problem with resources transmission in self-organizing network environment.Based the algorithm and the SUN's common peer-to-peer programming platform-JXTA, this paper proposes a self-organizing network information transmission prototype system. This system has these functions, including the resources of sharing, searching and download; This is a pre-research of transition the algorithm to practical application.
