In recent years, P2P technology has been widely developed and applied in resource sharing, instant messaging and many other fields. Many P2P-based applications have been developed, which lagely meet the needs of data interaction. However, the existing applications have some flaws, so that they can not fully adapt the situation of the campus network of Tianjin University. The campus network requires that P2P-based applications have some characteristics, such as protecting the internal network traffic, working on different platform and having good interaction between users. To meet the above needs, the thesis designs and implements a JXTA-based resource sharing and interaction system (MyShare system). The system is divided into three major functional blocks which are file-sharing, resource booking and instant messaging.Firstly, the thesis analyzes the P2P technology and JXTA platform to provide a theoretical basis for the design of MyShare system. Secondly, demand analysis is carried out for the status of campus network, and the major functions are proposed. Finally, the implementation of internal network traffic protection and working through the NAT is analyzed.By calling API of JXTA platform, the thesis completes the design of flow chart and specific programming of the system using Java language. At last, the project is packaged and deployed in a simulation environment of campus network, which is formed by four hosts, and a test is carried out.The test result shows that MyShare system works well on both Linux and Windows hosts, so that it has a good cross-platform feature. The system not only achieves the basic functions including file sharing, resource booking and instant messaging, but also successfully works through the NAT device and can protect the internal network traffic. In short, MyShare system meets the needs of the campus network of Tianjin University and has high practical value.
