Development And Implementation Of The Jinan Vocational Collage Scientific Research Information Management System

With the rapid development of higher vocational education, the devotion of collages to the scientific research has been strengthening unceasingly, along with which is the increasing workload of scientific research management. So establishing a set of scientific research management system not only can improve the management efficiency and assess the scientific achievement swiftly, accurately, equitably and adequately but can also provide logical arguments for the judgement of leaders, which, recently, has been the urgent need of colleges.The scientific research management system, taking the structure of B/S(Browser/Server),researched in this paper adopt Windows Server 2000/2003 as its Operation System, ASP.NET and VB.NET as its development language, SQL Server 2000 as its database.First of all, the problem confronted with by Jinan vocational collage and the launch of scientific research is analyzed and researched. On the basis of the need of application management, the system management module, human resources management module, person management of collage module, person management of department module and teachers of scientific research management module are designed, which can realize informationization, networking of whole process from the application of scientific research program to the tranformation of scientific research program and the management of paper publication and book of scientific research.In addition, from the aspects of design thought, design aim, design procedure and the characteristics of system, the way and approach in implementing the scientific research management system of Jinan vocational collage are outlined in this paper.The systematic analysis part, including the feasibility analysis, organizational analysis, management function analysis, business flow analysis, data flow analysis, data dictionary(DD), process description etc, are detailed in this paper.Finally, the function design of system and database design are thoroughly depicted in the system design. Finally the realization and code of main function module in system are introduced and the remaining problems of system are summarized.
