As the important equipment of the mine, the mine drainage system's movement quality influences the mine safety in production and the economic efficiency immediately. At present, the main drainage control systems are still using the traditional relay control. Workers are in the labor-intensive, the degree of automation is not high and the emergency response capacity of the drainage system is low. These seriously impact on the management level of the underground pumping station and restrict the modernized production and the construction of the mine.In this paper, to improve the level of automation control of the drainage system, applying the PLC control technology to the drainage system. Through detecting the water level of the water storage, the system controls the start and stop of the pumps automatically and accurately. In order to maintain the even using of the pumps and reduce the power cost, developing the function of"rotation automatically"and"evading the peak to fill in the valley". Simultaneously, applying the configuration software to design the control interface of the touch screen. The touch screen may demonstrate the running status of the pumps vividly in real-time, provide a very good control platform to the operators.In the automatic control system of the drainage, asking to determine the numbers of the operating and closed pumps according to the parameters such as the change of the water level. But because the water level and the rate of change of the water is belonged to the nonlinear and time-varying parameters, it is difficult to establish the precise mathematical model. Fuzzy control uses the natural language to control the complex production process, and is applicable to the system that is nonlinear, time-delay, parameter uncertainty, structural uncertainty, and unable to establish accurate mathematical model. Therefore this article applies the fuzzy control principle to the water level control system, and designs the fuzzy controller of the water level. Simultaneously,carrying the controller that has been established to simulate under MATLAB. The simulation curve indicates that this controller can obtain the ideal control effect.In the application domain of the fuzzy control technology, the fuzzy controller is basically realized by the personal computer, the single chip as well as the dedicated fuzzy control chip. Considering PLC has a series of merits such as the reliability is high, the programming is simple and flexible and the failure rate is low. This article carries the controller that has been established to realize under PLC. Using the programs to realize the fuzzy control strategy through compiling the software. Controlling the numbers of the operating and closed pumps reasonably to the achieve effective control of the water level.After completed, the system not only realizes PLC's features that the control is reliable, flexible and adaptable, but greatly improves the degree of the intelligentization of the control system.
