The Design And Practice Of Campus Paperless Office System Platform Based On WEB

From the 90's, the wide application of computer science changes human civilization in many ways. Traditional office mode has been pushed into a new field of paperless office by computer technology. In the field of paperless office, campus office information has become one of the critical path as well as symbol in education modernization and it becomes one of the goals in education of the 21st century to design and establish campus paperless office platform. Paperless office owns great advantage compared with traditional office mode. With the help of Internet connection, paperless office enables working staff to work in different time and place and it enables the information to circulate much quicker on the Internet including the intra-campus information uploading and downloading. Besides, paperless office makes school management more effective and efficient. It is a good platform for administrators to perform and supervise and it provides the teachers with an effectively communicative channel and serves as an information collector. The jam, delay and distortion of information are avoided during information transmission and it saves resources. Therefore, the design and practice of paperless office system platform owns a high value of research and practice.This paper illustrates the process of office flow and system function design, analyses the technologies for fulfilling the system and gives the practical method on the background of design and practice of paperless office system platform on Nankai Campus. Project development employs software engineering method with B/S frame and technology of WEB. By analyzing need demand, the system owns the functions of information management, resources sharing, software integrity and BBS, which meets the need of paperless office within campus. This paper focuses on the exploration and design process of the project including purpose and background, technologies and environment, design and practice, software testing as well as the process of dealing with critical technologies in the design process with software as description.The system has put into function now on the campus of Nankai junior high. It achieves its design purpose leaving the potential of further exploration meeting the need of paperless office. It proves that the system enhances the working efficiency, saves energy and resources and promotes standardization of campus work.
