Discussion Of Sci-tech Journal Publishing Model Under The Network Environment

With the rapid extension of computer network communication technology and the speed-up internationalization process of publishing industry, new forms of information dissemination and communication are coming into the basic forms. Web publishing is a new format, with the popularity of the internet and the emergence of a new publishing communication, which has brought unprecedented challenges and opportunities to the traditional publishing. China's publishing industry is undergoing the profound transforms, and then the publishing groups began to run after transforming into enterprises. Digital publishing under the network environment has become a publishing industry trend, and indicates the direction and trend of the publishing industry in the 21st century. The basic contents of this study adapt to the situation publishing tide under the digital network environment, meanwhile, the paper analyzed the sci-tech journal publishing models, current situation and existing problems in China, especially the new raised problems in comparison with those in the traditional publishing. Besides that the paper analyzed the status quo of sci-tech journals publishing models at home and abroad, especially the development process in Europe, the United States and other developed countries and their experience in solving the technical and management problems. By drawing lessons from their historical experience, the paper accorded with the actual operation situation of sci-tech journals digital publishing, presented the strategic analyses and recommendations for Chinese sci-tech journals digital publishing in order to point out the related problems during this process. At last, the paper made a few suggestions on the digital publishing process.
