Design And Realization Of Dalian Broadcasting Station Audio Monitor And Control System

The development of modern network and digital technology has brought about great changes to technological development of broadcasting station. Dalian broadcasting station seized the favorable opportunity to strengthen the digital and network construction of overall control system. Besides completing the full realization of audio signal switching and scheduling, the project has also possessed a perfect function of monitoring and controlling the status of equipment and signal condition in real time.There is a comprehensive utilization of computer hardware and software technology, network communication tech and database as well as CobraNet network audio transmission technology in the audio monitoring and control system studied in the essay. This system is mainly divided into two parts:hardware and software. Hardware includes audio routing equipment, network routing equipment, server and client computers. Software includes drivers, service program and client program through which customers can achieve the monitoring and controling over the equipment and signal.The software part of this system employs modular design, which facilitates system expansion and upgrading. In the system, there are different types of audio equipments which need corresponding drivers to be developed and designed according to network protocol matching up for the equipment itself. Service program is responsible for managing different kinds of drivers, recording device data into the database and handling message from the clients. Service program is designed to be a dual-active preparation mode which can improve the security and stability of the system. Also, there are running auxiliary procedures on the server part, which contribute much to system functions. Client program and server are established on a basis of C/S structure and carry out their functions by running different client programs.At present, the construction of this system has been completed. After the text of actual using the system in real environment, the system will soon be put into normal operation.
